Ghana defender Daniel Amartey has been named in Besiktas JK traveling squad for the UEFA Europa Conference League game against Club Brugge on Thursday night.
The Turkish Super Lig giants will open their 2023/24 UEFA Europa Conference League campaign in Group D with a trip to Belgium to battle it out with Club Brugge.
The 28-year-old has been out of action with an ankle injury and missed Ghana's final game of the 2023 Africa Cup of Nations qualifiers against Central African Republic (CAR).
Besiktas JK has been handed a massive boost at their back line with the return of the 28-year-old, who travelled with the team to Belgium for the all-important game.
Amartey, who joined the Black and White lads on a free transfer after leaving Leicester City, has scored one goal in his 6 appearances for Besiktas JK in his debut season.
His compatriot Denis Odoi is also expected to feature for Club Brugge in the fixture scheduled for 7:00 PM at the Jan Breydel Stadium.
