Ghanaian defender Nicholas Osei Bonsu has officially joined Moldovan Superliga club Spartanii Sportul on a free transfer ahead of the upcoming season.
The 23-year-old left-back has been unveiled by the Red and Yellow lads after passing a mandatory medical examination.
The club, based in Chișinău, is managed by former Asante Kotoko CEO Nana Yaw Amponsah, who facilitated the signing of the young talent.
Osei Bonsu has joined the Chisinau-based outfit on a free transfer after mutually terminating his contract with Ghanaian side Asante Kotoko after the 2023–24 season's campaign.
He arrived at Asante Kotoko in 2022 on a free transfer after leaving Bibiani Goldstars SC.
Osei Bonsu made 38 appearances across all competitions for the Porcupine Warriors during his two-year stay at the club.
He becomes the second ex-Asante Kotoko player to join Spartanii Sportul in Moldova this summer after Isaac Oppong, who was also released by the Kumasi-based club after the 2023–24 season.
