Former WAFA winger, Issah Abdul Basit is on the verge of securing a move to Swedish topflight side Helsingborg IF.
The player who left WAFA at the end of the 2021/22 season has been linked with a lot of clubs.
The 20 year old has been training with the Swedish club following the recommendation of the head coach.
"We have had the opportunity to watch Basit in our own environment. He is an interesting player we want to get acquainted with, says HIF's Sports Manager Andreas Granqvist on the club official handle.
Basit was voted Ghana Premier League player of the month for April following his impressive form for the relegated club.
The attacker is likely to secure a permanent move to the Swedish club in the upcoming January transfer window.
Basit Issah arrived in the second phase of last season but scored two goals in ten appearances for the Academy boys.
