Ghanaian forward Abdul-Aziz Yakubu proved himself worthy after scoring a penalty for Rio Ave in their 1-0 win against F.C. Arouca at the Estádio Municipal in the Portuguese topflight.
The 24-year-old scored the eventual game winner in the 59th minute after putting up a sterling performance on match-day 13 of the Primeira Liga.
Yakubu has featured in 13 leagues matches for the Rioavistas this season, playing a total of 1018 minutes.
"GOAL NO.6 and we keep chasing more. See you soon Rio Ave," he chalked on his official Twitter handle.
The former Red Bull Ghana and Vitória de Guimarães marksman has a deadly ability in front of goal and has formed a dangerous partnership with compatriot Emmanuel Boateng at the northern Portuguese club.
