The Black Stars attacking midfielder is set to seal a lucrative move to the Europa-Park Stadion outfit in the coming days.
German Bundesliga outfit SC Freiburg are in pole position of completing the signing of Ghana international Daniel Kofi Kyereh in the ongoing summer transfer window.
According to German newspaper Kicker, FC St. Pauli have reached an agreement with Freiburg over the transfer of the 26-year-old in the deal reported to be in the region of €4.5 million.
Kyereh’s contract runs out next year meaning the Hamburg-based club want to cash in now rather than waiting until next summer when the Ghanaian international can leave on a free.
Kickgh.com understands that SC Freiburg's Europa Conference League qualification has convinced Kofi Kyereh to facilitate a move to the Breisgau Brazilians this summer.
Other clubs which were interested in the attacking player included Werder Bremen, Stuttgart, Mainz 05 and Turkish giants Besiktas.
Kyereh had an incredible season with FC St. Pauli last season after notching twelve goals and providing 10 assists in 29 appearances.
