The Black Stars shot-stopper has extended his contract with the Kybun Park outfit until the end of the 2024/25 season.

Ghana international Lawrence Ati-Zigi has signed a new two-year contract extension with Swiss top-tier club FC St. Gallen after a fruitful negotiations.

Ati-Zigi was offered a new two-year deal following his exploits at the club since his arrival from French side FC Sochaux in 2020.
 
The club's official statement reads “FC St.Gallen 1879 can plan with Lawrence Ati Zigi beyond the end of the season.”
 
“The club has prematurely extended the contract with its goalkeeper, which was valid until June 2023, by two years until the end of the 2024/25 season. The FCSG is thus able to keep one of its top performers with the club”
 
The former Red Bull Salzburg was signed by the Swiss top-tier club FC St. Gallen from FC Sochaux in a transfer fee around the region €100,000.
 
He has kept two clean sheets and conceding six goals in his 7 appearances for FC St. Gallen this season so far.
 
Ati-Zigi has capped 10 times for the senior national team of Ghana since making his debut for the Black Stars in 2018
