Ghana winger Joseph Paintsil scored his fourth goal of the season for KRC Genk in the Belgian Jupilier League on Sunday afternoon.
KRC Genk made a trip to inflict a 2-1 home defeat on Union St.Gilloise in the match-week encounter at the Stade Joseph Marien.
Paintsil opened the score for KRC Genk with a superb strike on 15th minute of the game.
He was substituted by Nicolas Castro on the 37th minute after sustaining an injury.
The host levelled the score through Loic Lapoussin on the 74th minute but a late strike from Tanzanian international Mbwana Samatta handed KRC Genk a 2-1 win.
Paintsil has scored four goals and provided an assist in his 8 appearances for KRC Genk this season so far.
He was snubbed by Ghana coach Otto Addo for this month's international friendlies against Brazil and Nicaragua.
