Ghanaian midfielder Abdul Samed Salis registered his first-ever French Ligue 1 goal for RC Lens in their win over Lorient on Wednesday evening.

RC Lens moved to second place on the table following a 5-2 home win over Lorient in their match-week five encounter at the Stade Bollaert-Delelis.

 
A brace from Lorient attacker Terem Moffi levelled two early goals from Wesley Said and two-goal hero Florian Sotoca in the early minutes of the first half.
 
Samed Salis restored the lead for the Red and Yellow lads with a brilliant strike on the 57th minute of the game.
 
Other goals from Florian Sotoca and Lois Openda on the 77th and 86th minute respectively ended the fixture in a 5-2 win for RC Lens.
 
He enjoyed the entire duration of the fixture with an outstanding display.
 
Samed Salis has featured in all the five Ligue 1 games for RC Lens this season so far.
 
He joined RC Lens on a five-year contract worth €5 million from Clermont FL this summer.
