Ghanaian international Kwabena Owusu scored against French club FC Nantes on Thursday of the UEFA Europa League as his side Qarabağ FK won 3-0.

The 25-year-old pounced on a loose ball from the away side to score his club's first goal of the game in the 60th minute at the Tofiq Bahramov Stadium.

Owusu had a good game and played a key role in upsetting the Nantes defence, throughout, as he kept pressing from all angles.

French left-winger Abdellah Zoubir, who does not miss rare chances netted the second goal for 'The Horsemen' after a brilliant team move.

The Azerbaijani pressure was persistent as Nantes gave away another goal as Marko Jankovic brilliantly nipped the ball into the back of the net in the 72nd minute to complete the crushing.
