Ghana youth attacker Ernest Nuamah continued his blistering performance for FC Nordsjaelland after netting a late winner against FC Copenhagen in the Danish SuperLiga playoffs.
FC Nordsjaelland are back to the top of the Danish SuperLiga after defeating last season's champions 3-2 at the Right to Dream Park.
Martin Fresse opened the scoring in the 28th minute for FC Nordsjaelland before Daniel Sevensson doubled the lead after the break.
Copenhagen pulled one back through an own goal from Kian Hansen in the 71st minute.
But Nuamah restored the two-goal lead with two minutes remaining before Diogo Goncalves reduced the deficit late in injury time.
The 19-year-old was substituted after enjoying 89 minutes of the game while his countryman Ibrahim Osman warmed the bench for FC Nordsjaelland.
Nuamah has now scored ten goals and provided four assists in 26 matches for FC Nordsjaelland this season so far.
