German second-tier side FC Heidenheim new signing, David Atanga, is determined to play more games for his new club this season.
The 19-year-old attacking midfielder joined the Budesliga II side on Tuesday from Austrian giants Redbull Salzburg on a year loan.
The Black Satellites enforcer who helped Austrian second tier side FC Liefering to finish second last season is eyeing for more playing time at FC Heidenhiem.
"It was going to be difficult and a big challenge for me to play Redbull next season but I think with FC Heidenheim, I will get much play time than staying at Redbull" he told Kickgh.com in an exclusive interview.
"But I think at my age playing here will also help me to reach the highest level and also represent my country at next year tournament [2017 Africa Youth Championship]"
"And I'm happy that this club believe in me and am ready to work with them and urge the fans also to support me"
Atanga scored 10 goals in his 23 appearances in the 2015/16 season for FC Liefering.
The Parent club for the Ghana international has a four-year deal with the youngster which keeps him till 2020.
The Redbull Salzburg graduate was a member of Black Satellites squad that represented Ghana at the 2015 FIFA U-20 world cup in New Zealand.
