Ghanaian attacker Augustine Boakye provided two assists in Wolfsberger AC home win over WSG Tirol in the Austrian Bundesliga on Saturday evening.
Wolfsberger AC secured their seventh victory of the season after inflicting a 4-1 defeat on WSG Tirol in their match-week 19 fixture at the Lavanttal Arena.
Boakye teed up Ivorian international Thierno Ballo in the 8th and 30th minute to give the home side a 2-0 lead in the first half of the game.
On the 50th minute, Bernhard Zimmermann extended the lead for Wolfsberger AC to 3-0 before the visitors pulled one back through Osarenren Okungbowa in the 75th minute.
However, the three-goal lead was restored in the dying embers of the game courtesy a late strike from Adis Jasic.
Boakye was substituted after the hour-mark and was replaced by Florian Rieder.
The former WAFA star has scored five goals and provided six assists in 17 league appearances for Wolfsberger AC in this season so far.
He is yet to represent Ghana at any level.
