East Bengal striker Elshaddai Acheampong continued her unstoppable run of form as she scored an hat-trick in East Bengal FC 3-1 win over Odisha FC.



The Ghanaian has been on fire this season in particular, topping the Indian Women’s League top-scorer leaderboard of the campaign.



The 21-year-old who has established herself as a mainstay for women's football in India took her scoring tally to six goals after their matchday 7 clash against Odisha on Sunday.


Acheampong, a former Black Maidens captain scored in the 6th, 30th and 36 minutes, respectively, before her compatriot Jennifer Kankam Yeboah pulled one back in the 74th minute.


East Bengal are sitting on top of the eight-team Indian Women's League table with 18 points after seven rounds of matches.
