Ghanaian attacker Issah Abass scored off the bench, but his effort was not enough as Radnicki Nis suffered a narrow 3–2 defeat away to Vojvodina in the Serbian Super League.

Introduced at half-time, Abass injected pace and attacking intent into a Radnicki side that had struggled to create chances in the first half.

Vojvodina opened the scoring in the 21st minute through Marko Velickovic, following a well-worked move involving Aleksa Vukanovic.

Abass restored parity in the 55th minute, timing his run perfectly to meet a pass from Ranko Jokic before calmly finishing to make it 1–1.

However, Radnicki’s momentum was quickly halted. Vukanovic put Vojvodina back in front on 58 minutes after being set up by Velickovic, before Vukan Savicevic extended the lead five minutes later with an assist from Lucas Barros.

Late in the game, Mateja Radonjic pulled one back for Radnicki from a cross by Gboly Ariyibi, but the visitors were unable to find an equaliser.

Abass’s goal takes his 2025/26 league tally to one goal in eight appearances for Radnicki Nis in the Serbian Super League.
