Ghanaian striker Kelvin Owusu Boateng is set to make a move from Slovak club Spartak Trnava during the ongoing transfer window.

Boateng, 23, is reportedly on his way to join Austrian second division club First Vienna FC 1894 as he seeks more playing time and opportunities.

Having joined Spartak in the summer of 2021 from FC Porto's reserve team, Boateng faced challenges in establishing himself as a key player for the club due to injury setbacks. To gain regular game time, he was loaned out to Karvina.

Although his contract with Spartak was originally set to expire in June 2024, Boateng has decided to leave the club in search of more consistent opportunities elsewhere.

Unfortunately, he didn't manage to secure a spot in the team during preseason, leading to his decision to move on from the Slovak club.
