Dutch-born Ghanaian defender Jeremie Agyekum Frimpong provided an assist in Bayer Leverkusen entertaining draw with Borussia Monchengladbach in the German Bundesliga on Sunday.
Bayer Leverkusen were held to a 2-2 home stalemate by Broussia Monchengladbach in the match-week 33 fixture at the Bay Arena.
Frimpong set up Kerem Demirbay with a brilliant pass to doubled their lead on the 20th minute after Amine Adli had taken the lead for Leverkusen on the 15th minute of the game.
Two second half goals from Jonas Hofmann and Lars Stindl on the 58th and 90th minute respectively aided the visitors to leave the Bay Arena with a point.
The former Manchester City starlet enjoyed the entire duration of the game while Callum Hudson-Odoi and Timothy Fosu-Mensah warmed the bench for Bayer Leverkusen.
Frimpong has netted nine goals and provided eight assists in 47 matches for Bayer Leverkusen across all competitions this season so far.
He is still eligible to represent Ghana at the senior national team level despite earning call-up to Netherlands.
