A second half strike from Ramadel Falcao wasn't enough to secure a point for Rayo Vallecano as the game ended in a 3-2 win for Athletic Bilbao.
Mumin was introduced on the 79th minute as replacement for French centre-back Florian Lejeune.
The 24-year-old joined Rayo Vallecano from Portuguese top-tier club Vitoria Guimaraes for a fee around the region of €1.5 million.
