Jerome Opoku, an English-born Ghanaian defender, scored his first goal for Turkish club Istanbul Basaksehir in their victory over Gazientep in the Superlig.
Opoku wasted no time in opening the scoring, finding the back of the net just three minutes into the match.
Papy Djilobodji extended the lead for the hosts with an own goal at the Fatih Terim Stadium.
Alexandru Maxim had a chance to pull one back for the visitors, but his penalty was saved by Volcan Babacan.
Opoku joined Istanbul Basaksehir in the summer transfer window on loan from Portuguese club Arouca, and the Turkish club has the option to make the deal permanent at the end of the season.
Although Opoku has represented England at youth levels, he remains eligible to play for the Black Stars of Ghana.
