Ghanaian midfielder Nana Welbeck has completed his move to Italian Serie C side Catania FC, the club have announced.
The 29-year-old combative midfielder is joining the Stadio Angelo Massimino campaigners on a free transfer deal until June 30 ,2025 in this winter transfer window.
An excerpt of a confirmation over the signing of the former Brescia enforcer via the club's official website reads: " Catania Football Club announces that it has definitively acquired the right to the sporting performances of the footballer Nana Addo Welbeck-Maseko, born in Accra, Ghana, on 24 November 1994. "
The Accra-born experienced defensive midfielder, who is expected to marshal the set-up of Italian gaffer Cristiano Lucarelli in the middle of the park, will be wearing shirt number 23 for the 2023/24 football campaign.
