Augustine Boakye was on target for Wolfsberger AC in the 2-1 away win against Austria Lustenau on Tuesday evening.
The Ghanaian forward scored the opening goal for the Wolves in the 50th minute to put the visitors ahead.
However, things took a different turn in the 77th minute when the hosts snatched an equaliser through Lukas Fridrikas.
Wolfsberger AC extended their lead to 2-1 in the 87th minute, courtesy of Ivorian-born Thierno Ballo.
The win at the ImmoAgentur Stadium takes the Wolves to the second spot of the Austrian Bundesliga table, amassing 22 points in 28 games.
Boakye, 23, has been a key figure in Manfred Schmid's setup, directly contributing to 13 goals by scoring seven and providing six assists in 23 games.
