The Austrian second division outfit have reportedly parted company with the 25-year-old, with a move to top-flight campaigners FK Austria Wien set to be completed in the summer
Austrian 2. Liga side First Vienna FC have gone separate ways with Ghanaian striker Kelvin Boateng together with his other three team-mates ahead of the end of the current campaign.
According to a report by L1, Kelvin Boateng, Daniel Luxbacher, David Peham, and Philipp Ochs will leave the Vienna-based club as their contracts expire at the end of the 2024-25 football season.
Per newspaper Kronen Zeitung, FK Austria Wien have snapped up the services of the ex-FC Porto B man and would be linking up with them on a free transfer in the summer.
Boateng, who is currently sidelined with an ankle injury, has so far been involved in 20 games by netting 12 goals and assisting 1 for Vienna across all competitions in this current 2024-25 campaign.
With his fine form in the Austrian football competitions, Boateng could soon become an integral member of the Ghana Senior Men's National Team at the international level.
