The experienced striker of Ghanaian heritage has completed his move to the Dubai-based club in this winter transfer window 

UAE side Gulf United FC have announced the signing of Swedish-born Ghanaian veteran centre-forwad Robin Quaison in an undisclosed period of contract.

The 32-year-old former Mainz O5 attacker is joining the desert-ridden nation on a free transfer after parting company with Greek elite division side Aris Thessaloniki in the summer of 2025.

ln an excerpt of an official confirmation over the signing of the Ghanaian attacker, the Gulf Region club have said via their Facebook Account: ''A dynamic, versatile attacker with proven quality across Europe's top leagues, we're proud to announce the signing of the Swedish international forward.

''Known for his intelligence, movement and eye for goal, Robin starred in the Bundesliga with Mainz O5, delivering consistent  goals and becoming one of the club's most attacking threats. Now, Robin arrives at Gulf United ready to bring goals, experience and winning mentality to the front line. Welcome to Gulf United.''

He has a magnitude of experience in top-flight football competitions across Europe, with spells at AIK, Mainz O5, US Palermo and Aris Thessaloniki already taken in so far in his footballing career.

He remains cap-tied to the Swedish senior national team, making him unfit to represent Ghana on the international stage given his Ghanaian heritage.
