Stephan Mensah inspired Kickers Offenbach to a thumping 6-2 victory, as his side scoring festival dealt a huge blow to beleaguered Hessen Kassel at Sparda-Bank-Hessen-Stadion.

It did not take long for Kickers to find their feet, netting four goals within 33 minutes - once in the opening 2 minutes - first a beautiful header from inside the box by Boubacar Barry.

The tempo continued after the break, unsurprisingly so, but the home side still got a fifth when Marc Wachs notched from 30 meters after a defensive blunder from Hessen Kassel's goalkeeper.

Substitute Stephan Mensah then completed the rout in the 59th minute, leaving Alexander Kiene and Hessen Kassel licking their wounds after a costly defeat in the round 10 of the Regionalliga Southwest.

Forward Benjamin Hadzic and defender Elias Liesche Prieto scored the two consolation goals for Hessen Kassel in the 86th and 87th minutes, respectively.
