Bernard Mensah continued his rich run of form in the Saudi Pro League by scoring twice for Al Tai in their comeback victory over Al Fateh, significantly boosting their survival chances.

The former Ghana international has been a key player for Al Tai since joining from Kayserispor last summer, netting his 13th and 14th goals of the campaign.

The match at Prince Abdul Aziz bin Musa'ed Stadium saw a fast start on Thursday evening, with the visitors scoring in the fourth minute through Cape Verdean forward Djaniny.

However, the hosts equalized eight minutes later thanks to defender Robert Bauer.

Mensah put Al Tai ahead in the 83rd minute, heading home from an Andrei Cordea corner kick. He sealed the victory with a remarkable solo effort, beating four defenders before scoring past the Al Fateh goalkeeper.

Mensah has emerged as one of the top African players in the Saudi Pro League this season, with 14 goals and an assist in 28 matches.
