APOEL FC has officially announced the signing of Ghanaian midfielder David Abagna on a three-year contract, which will keep him at the club until May 2027.

Abagna, who previously played for Moldovan champions FC Petrocub, made a notable impact last season, scoring 4 goals in 10 league appearances and playing a key role in his team’s title-winning campaign.

The Cypriot giants shared the news of Abagna's arrival through their official social media channels, expressing their excitement about the addition to their squad.

"APOEL FC is pleased to announce the agreement with Al-Hilal for the signing of David Abagna. The agreement with the player is for three years, lasting until May 2027. David Abagna, born on 09/09/1998, is a versatile player who can operate in all central axis positions. He hails from Ghana and is an international player with the Men's national team," the club statement read.

"We warmly welcome David Abagna to APOEL and wish him great success in winning titles and achieving European glory while wearing the blue and yellow jersey."
