Edmund Addo, the Ghanaian international, expressed his delight after securing a transfer to Serbian powerhouse Red Star Belgrade from Sparta Subotica.
The midfielder, who recently represented the Black Stars, completed his move on Wednesday after successfully passing his medical examination. He signed a four-year contract and is expected to play a significant role for the club in the upcoming season.
Red Star Belgrade has been monitoring Addo since his time at Sheriff Tiraspol, and they finally secured his services. Despite limited playing time due to injuries, the Serbian champions were impressed by his performances during his tenure at Spartak Subotica.
Addo took to Twitter to share his excitement, stating, "Same Goal and Target, New Challenge." His arrival at Red Star Belgrade sees him join his fellow Black Stars teammate, Osman Bukari, who enjoyed a remarkable debut season with the Serbian giants.
