German-born Ghanaian midfielder Jesse Edem Tugbenyo is undergoing trials with German 3.Liga side Arminia Bielefeld.
Following his release by SC Paderborn this term, the former SC Verl loanee is hopeful he live up to his billings in his assessment sessions in order to clinch a deal with the Bielefelder Alm stadium outfit ahead of the 2024/25 football season.
An official announcement over his trials on X reads: "Jesse Tugbenyo is currently with us for a week in trial training! 🙌The 22-year-old can be used in several positions and was most recently under contract with SC Paderborn."
Given his Ghanaian heritage, he still remains qualified to represent Ghana at the international level.
