Ghanaian midfielder Michael Baidoo scored and assisted in IF Elfsborg convincing home victory over Mjällby AIF in the Swedish Allsvenskan on Sunday evening.

IF Elfsborg continued their title winning hopes alive with a 2-0 win over Mjällby AIF in their match-week 20 clash at the Boraas Arena.

 

The 24-year-old set-up his teammate Sveinn Aron Gudjohnsen to open the scoring for IF Elfsborg in the 37th minute of the game.

 

Three minutes later, Baidoo doubled the lead for the Yellow and Black lads to complete their resounding win with a solo run to struck the ball past Noel Tornqvist.

 

The former Vision FC starlet enjoyed the full duration of the match for IF Elfsborg while Mamudo Moro warmed the bench of Mjällby AIF.

 

Baidoo has scored two goals and provided four assists in 20 appearances for IF Elfsborg this season so far.
