English-born of Ghanaian descent Tyrese Fornah scored his debut Championship goal for Reading FC against Middlesbrough on Saturday afternoon.
Reading recorded a back-to-back Championship wins with a well-earned victory over Middlesbrough to move up to third place.
Tyrese Fornah's first-half strike was the difference as the midfielder, on loan from Nottingham Forest, belted a low drive beyond Boro goalkeeper Zach Steffen for his first goal in a Royals jersey.
It proved to be the only goal despite both sides having further chances.
Reading FC maintained their unbeaten home record in the league this season with a third win from three.
Fornah was in action with Andy Yiadom while Ghana U20 star Kelvin Abrefa warmed the bench for Reading FC.
He joined Reading FC on a season-long loan deal from English Premier League returnees Nottingham Forest.
