Ghanaian stalwart Shawn Oduro finalizes transfer to Tanzanian club Geita Gold

Tanzania Premier League club Geita Gold FC have signed Ghanaian defender Shawn Oduro, Kickgh.com can confirm.

Reports emerged earlier this week linking the Ghanaian to the Mwanza-based side, with the club reaching an agreement with the player.

Oduro, 26, has joined Geita on a permanent deal, signing a two-year contract.

He joined Indeni FC in October 2020 but only made five appearances for the Zambia Super League side in the 2020/2021 season.

Oduro will play in next season's CAF Confederation Cup with Geita Gold after they finished fourth in their maiden entry in the Tanzanian top-flight.
