French-born Ghanaian striker Grejohn Kyei scored double to propel Clermont Foot to an important home win over Olympique Lyon in the French Ligue 1 on Sunday.

Clermont Foot came from a goal down to record a 2-1 crucial win over Lyon in their match-week 35 clash at Stade Gabriel Montpied.

 
Former Arsenal forward Alexandre Lacazette opened the score for Lyon on the 22nd minute before Kyei leveled up via a spot-kick, three minutes later.
 
The 27-year-old aided Clermont Foot to secure all the three maximum points with his second goal on the 65th minute of the game.
 
Lacazette failed to score a late penalty awarded to Lyon in the dying embers as it ended in a 2-1 win for Clermont Foot.
 
Kyei was substituted on the 78th minute while Black Stars defender Alidu Seidu enjoyed the entire duration of the game with a scintillating performance.
 
He has now scored eight goals and provided four assists in 34 Ligue 1 games for Clermont Foot this season so far
