Ghanaian international Sadat Karim scored to propel Halmstad BK to victory over Skoevde AIK in the Swedish second-tier league on Sunday afternoon.
Halmstad BK extended their lead on top of the Swedish Superettan log after defeating Skoevde AIK 3-2 in their match-week 22 clash at the Örjans Vall Stadion.
On the 10th minute, Andreas Johansson fetched the opener for the hosts before Villiam Granath restored the parity after the half-hour mark to end the first half in a 1-1 stalemate.
Three minutes after the break, the visitors conceded again through Alexander Berntsson but it was responded on the 55th minute by Jack Cooper Love.
The former Hearts of Oak attacker secured all the needed points for Halmstad BK with his strike on the 59th minute after connecting a pass delivered by his compatriot Phil Ofosu-Ayeh
Sadat Karim was substituted on the 80th minute to be replaced by Mikael Boman while Phil Ofosu-Ayeh enjoyed the full duration.
He had scored four goals in his 23 appearances for Halmstad BK in the ongoing season
