The promising Ghanaian teenager played an integral role in helping his side annex the youth championship title on home soil on Monday


Dutch-born Ghanaian starlet Levi Acheampong has won the 2024 Future Cup Championship with Ajax U17 youth side.

The 16-year-old immense contribution in the clash saw his side defeat Czech Republic club FK Partizan 2-1 at the Sportpark De Toekomst - with goals from team-mates Jinairo Johnson and Sean Steur enough to secure the trophy for the Amsterdam-based club.

 The tournament is an annual friendly international youth tournament organized by the Dutch football club AFC Ajax.

 This latest championship title now becomes the 6th ultimate accolade won by the Dutch youth outfit since the inception of the Future Cup contest.
