Ghanaian young forward Edmund Baidoo registered his second goal of the 2024–25 season in Red Bull Salzburg's thrilling draw with SCR Altach in the Austrian Bundesliga on Sunday.
Ten-man Red Bull Salzburg failed to close the gap for the 2025–26 Bundesliga title chase after a 2-2 home draw with SCR Altach at the Red Bull Arena.
The home side played over 60 minutes as a manless side when Kouakou Gadou received a red card in the 22nd minute of the game.
SCR Altach took the lead in the 34th minute through a spot-kick which was brilliantly converted by Patrick Greil.
However, Bosnian youngster Kerim Alajbegovic levelled the score for Salzburg with a cool finish on the stroke of halftime.
Despite being a man down, Red Bull Salzburg delivered a masterclass performance to register their second goal before the hour mark through Baidoo.
The 19-year-old brilliantly found the back of the net for the hosts, but an 80th-minute goal from Ousmane Diawara ended the match in a 2-2 draw.
Baidoo has scored two goals and provided an assist in nine league appearances for Red Bull Salzburg in the ongoing season's campaign.
