Budding talented Ghanaian young midfielder Ali Fadal made his senior debut for Spanish La Liga side Valencia on Tuesday, December 5, 2023, in aCopa del Rey game against lower tier side Arosa SC.
The 19-year-old climbed off the bench after 71 minutes to replace fellow debutant Marco Camus as Ruben Baraja’s team secured a victory to progress to the next round of the competition.
Fadal impressed with the 19 minutes he got on the pitch, with fans yearning to see more of the Valencia Mestalla product in senior games.
Ukrainian Roman Yarechuk scored the only goal of the game in the eight minute to see the La Liga club progress to the next round of the Cope del Rey.
Since his arrival at Valencia last year, the Kumasi-born has been drafted to the club's youth side and had the privilege to train with the senior team.
During the break for the 2022 World Cup in Qatar, he played against Leeds U21 and Clermont in December.
Fadal was part of the Valencia pre-season squad list for the 2023/24 season.
