English-born Ghanaian young attacker Charles Sagoe Jr scored in Arsenal U19 defeat to Sevilla U19 in the UEFA Youth League on Tuesday afternoon.

Sagoe Jr. scored a consolation goal when the young Gunners suffered a 2-1 away loss to the Sevilla U19 side at Estadio Jesus Navas.

Sevilla opened the scoring through Alberto Collado in the 12th minute after receiving a pass from Senegalese youngster Bakary Sow before Jose Antonio Lopez doubled their lead on the 38th minute.

The 19-year-old, who was born in London the Ghanaian parents, pulled one back for Arsenal in the 83rd minute of the game.

Sagoe Jr made his first team debut for Arsenal last month during their 1-0 victory over Brentford in the Carabao Cup.

He has played five games for the Arsenal U21 in the Premier League Two this season, scoring one goal and providing four assists in the process.

The Arsenal U19 side remain bottom of the log with no point after three matches, having lost all of them. Lens lead the table with 9 points before Sevilla and PSV, who are both on 4 points.
