The budding talented forward has inked a professional contract to keep him at Ajax until the summer of 2025.

Dutch Eredivisie heavyweights Ajax have announced that Ghanaian youngster Don-Angelo Konadu has signed a professional contract with the club on his 17th birthday.

The 17-year-old striker, born to Ghanaian parents in Amsterdam, was offered a contract by Ajax following his explosive performance at the club's youth levels.
 
Two youth players signed their first professional contracts with Ajax on Wednesday," the statement said, adding that "Don-Angelo Konadu and Avery Appiah have both signed contracts retroactively starting from April 1, 2023, and running until June 30, 2025.
 
"Don-Angelo Konadu is a 17-year-old striker who currently plays in the Ajax U-17 squad and is part of the Ajax youth academy. He is currently recovering from an injury."
 
Konadu has managed to score eight goals and provided four assists in 13 matches for the Ajax U-17 team until his recent injury.
 
He is yet to represent either Ghana or Netherlands at any level.
