The English Premier League giants have been handed a massive boost as the budding talented midfielder has resumed training from an injury layoff.
English-born Ghanaian young midfield enforcer Kobbie Mainoo has commenced individual training hoping to recover from foot injury sustained during Manchester United's pre-season training.
Mainoo enjoyed the trust of Erik ten Hag in pre-season and started the friendly with Real Madrid, only to be hurt in the opening exchanges during a freak collision with Rodrygo.
The 18-year-old took part in an individual light running exercise as he strives to make his way back, after impressing in the United States.
Mainoo, a key member of the Manchester United's 2022 FA Youth Cup-winning team under Travis Binnion, has made three senior appearances to date, including one start - in the Carabao Cup victory over Charlton Athletic at Old Trafford last January.
He is eligible to represent either Ghana or England at the international level in future.
