Ghanaian forward Ransford-Yeboah Königsdörffer has earned a spot in Sofascore’s Bundesliga Team of the Week following his standout performance in Hamburger SV’s emphatic victory over Magdeburg.

The 23-year-old played a pivotal role in HSV’s dominant display, scoring twice to secure all three points.

He opened the scoring in the 9th minute with a well-taken strike before Magdeburg’s Marcus Mathisen turned the ball into his own net six minutes later to double HSV’s advantage.

After the break, Königsdörffer struck again in the 53rd minute, sealing the win and taking his season tally to 11 goals in Bundesliga 2.

The German-born forward has been a key figure for the league leaders in their push for promotion to the Bundesliga, featuring in 25 matches with 11 goals and one assist this season.

Despite his impressive form, Königsdörffer was not included in Ghana’s squad for the upcoming 2026 FIFA World Cup qualifiers against Chad and Madagascar.
