Ghanaian young forward Patrick Agyemang climbed off the bench to score the match-winner for Charlotte FC against Toronto FC in Major League Soccer on Saturday night.

Charlotte FC recorded their third victory of the season with a 3-2 home win over Toronto FC at the Bank of America Stadium.

Kerwin Vargas gave Charlotte FC the lead with a fine strike in the 39th minute before German-born Ghanaian Prince Osei Owusu leveled the score just four minutes after the break.

Charlotte FC restored their lead through Liel Abada, but Osei Owusu popped up again when he tapped in a pass from Jahkeele Marshall-Rutty in the 78th minute of the game.

Agyemang, who was introduced a minute after Charlotte FC conceded the second goal, scored the match-winner with a cool finish in the 85th minute of the game.

He has scored two goals in seven appearances for Charlotte FC in Major League Soccer in the ongoing season.

Agyemang has made five starts and 19 appearances over two seasons with Charlotte FC since joining them from lower-tier side RI Rams.
