Ghanaian young sensation, Clinton Dombila excelled very well and made name for himself in the IDBank Premier League for FC Ararat Yerevan after been named the second best right-back in the just ended 2023/24 season.
The 19-year-old joined the White Eagles prior to the start of the season and his instant impact with their youth side earned him a quick invite to the senior side where he served as a fringe in the first round.
But in the second phase, the enterprising lateral returned on a blistering note and established himself as a mainstay in the first team where he made thirteen appearances with eight starts and consistently proved why he deserved to be a regular.
In his last four matches; against FC Shirak, Noah, Alashkert and Urartu, the JMG Academy graduate was unplayable and had over seven rating in three of those matches, according to Sofascore.
With the season currently over, Clinton Dombila has been chosen as the second best right-back in the Armenian topflight after just few games, behind eventual winner David Davidyan- who plays for champions FC Pyunik. Alashkert's Revaz Chiteishvili and Arman Mkrtchyan of FC Van occupied the third and fourth spots respectively.

FC Ararat Yerevan missed narrowly on European football spot next season after finishing sixth on the league log with 45 points.
