The 20-year-old attacker is currently testing his mettle with the Blåränderna as he bids to land himself a deal after his assessment sessions

Ghanaian striker Cornelius Agbenyegah is undergoing trials with Swedish Allsvenskan side Djurgårdens IF, the club have announced.

The former Zlina FC academy product is likely to be snapped up by the Swedish outfit on a free transfer given his talent as a budding star having left UAE Pro League side Al-Ittihad Kalba this summer.

A statement over the trials of the Ghanaian promising forward read on the club's official website: ''A severely depleted Djurgården, with eight players on international duty during the break, continues training at Kaknäs.

''However, a welcome reinforcement in the squad came on Monday with a visit from 04-born striker Cornelius Agbenyegah. A player who was born in Ghana and raised in Zlina FC – an academy in Ghana – and who has previously played in Brazil and Saudi Arabia.

''Cornelius is in place and training with the team out at Kaknäs until Wednesday, where he will then take time off for the rest of the week.''

Agbenyegah has already been earmarked for greatness with the Ghana National Team in the near future.
