Ghanaian midfielder, Abdul Wahab Hanan continued with his stellar form and scored his first goal of the season since joining Al Shabab last Saturday afternoon.
His long range beauty salvaged a vital point for Shabab who held league leaders East Riffa to a pulsating 1-1 draw at the Khalifa Sports City Stadium in match-day 7 of the Bahraini Premier League.
The lanky middleman opened the scoring account in the game for the visitors with a thunderbolt of a strike on the 22nd minute before his lead was subsequently levelled up.
The ex- Legon Cities midfielder has started the ongoing campaign on a good note since joining them in the last summer window and has so far featured in all six matches his club has played.
Al Shabab are currently occupying the 8th position on the league with 7 points and have an outstanding game to spare.
Abdul Wahab Hanan will hope for another starting berth when they host Sitra at home in the next round of matches next Sunday.
