Ghana midfielder Emmanuel Lomotey scored his second goal of the season on Saturday for Ethnikos Achnas as they succumbed to a 4-3 defeat to Pafos FC in the Cypriot First Division.
The Labadi-born sterling midfielder known for his predatory instincts inside the penalty box hit the target in the 29th minute to equalise for his side after going down in the 11th minute in the match-week 24 encounter.
Pafos scored to surge forward again in the 35th minute through Jairo da Silva before Enzo Cabrera restored parity for the Achniotes.
Attacking midfielder Onni Valakari notched in just a minute into the second half to make it 3-2 for Pafos before Dejan Drazic leveled the scores for Ethnikos in the 76th minute.
Pafos snatched the maximum points in the 89th minute through Muamer Tankovic's spot-kick.
Lomotey has now featured in 19 games across all competitions for the Achniotes, netting two goals.
Ethnikos Achnas who are placed tenth with 24 points in the Cypriot First Division, will play fifth placed Omonoia on Wednesday, February 14.
