Ghana international Mohammed Kudus came off the bench to score in West Ham United's sweet away win over relegated Ipswich Town at Portman Road.

West Ham captain Jarrod Bowen, who was marking his 200th Premier League appearance, had a hand in his side's 43rd-minute opener, latching on to a poor back-pass by Sam Morsy to set up James Ward-Prowse for his first goal of the season.

Nathan Broadhead levelled for Town seven minutes after the restart, but Bowen restored West Ham's lead with a fierce left-footed shot.

Mohammed Kudus sealed the success with a superb finish three minutes from time, leaving West Ham in 14th place, while Ipswich finished second from bottom.

It was a ninth successive defeat at Portman Road for Town to extend their longest home losing streak, and matching the mark of the two other relegated sides, Southampton and Leicester City.

Kudus Mohammed has ended the 2024/25 Premier League season by notching up five goals and provided three assists in 32 games for the Hammers.
