Hamburger SV have initiated fresh discussions to secure the long-term future of Ghanaian forward Ransford-Yeboah Königsdörffer.
The 24-year-old, has become a integral figure in Hamburger’s attacking plans, prompting the club to move quickly in the hope of agreeing an extension before rival European clubs show serious interest.
However, club officials of Die Rothosen's see the early negotiations as an opportunity to reward Königsdörffer’s stellar performance on the pitch while being a key cog for the squad.
With two years remaining on his current deal, Hamburger retain the upper hand, but are keen to ensure the forward remains committed amid a competitive transfer market.
