Former Black Satellites striker, Ebenezer Assifuah, has revealed that he feels desolate when he sees Paul Pogba, Samuel Umtiti and some other players development.
Ghana placed third at the U-20 world cup in 2013, with France winning the ultimate.
Assifuah, 29, won the golden boot with six goals at the U-20 world cup in Turkey.
Paul Pogba, Samuel Umtiti, Geoffrey Kondogbia, Alphonse Areola and others starred for France in the tournament.
Paul Pogba was the best player at the tournament and have gone on to win the world cup with the France in 2018, together some U-2o teammates.
Ebenezer Assifuah, who plays for Pau FC in the second-tier of France, says he feels sad when he sees the development of Paul Pogba and other players he competed with at the U-20 world cup.
"I feel so sad when I see the likes of Pogba, Umtiti, and the rest. Because we all played on one stage during the FIFA U20 tournament in Turkey," he told Original TV.
"The difference between them and us is that their country saw what they can do and groomed them."
"Now they are all World cup winners and still playing. But for Us the moment we couldn't win the tournament that was it," he added.
