Former Black Stars goalkeeper, Adam Kwarasey admits he wasn't in a better shape at the 2014 World Cup because he wasn't up to the task at the training grounds.
Ghana failed to progress from the group stage of the Mundial in Brazil amidst player revolt.
Ghana lost to both United States of America and Portugal, and drew with eventual winners, Germany, in their tumultuous world cup campaign since their maiden appearance in 2006.
Then head coach Kwesi Appiah dropped Adam Kwarasey to the bench, after their defeat to US in the first game. Fatawu Dauda replaced Adam Kwarasey in the remaining matches against Germany and Portugal.
The 34-year-old kwarasey said the ex- Al Khartoum coach should have been bold to tell him before dropping him but feels disrespected by the actions of the coach.
However, Kwarasey has admitted that he wasn't responding to training at the world cup in 2014.
"But I have to honestly say that I was in better form 3 weeks before the WC than I was during the WC because of the simple reason that I wasn’t responding to the training," he revealed on JoySports.
