Ghanaian young-sensation Ibrahim Osman is currently on loan at French side AJ Auxerre from Brighton but has popped up on the radar of Championship side Birmingham City, per exclusive reports.
The 20-year-old prior to the commencement of the ongoing season, sealed another loan move to the Blue and Whites lads on a with an option to buy at the end of the 2025-26 season's campaign.
Auxerre could buy him from Brighton for 16 million euros which would represent a transfer record for them.
He’s made 14 appearances in the French Ligue 1, but came off the bench in most situations with two assists to his belt.
With limited game time at the Stade de I’Abbé-Deschamps, reports say Ibrahim Osman is currently unhappy so as his parent-club who are considering to recall him with Birmingham City already expressing interest.
With Brighton having eyes on the Right to Dream Academy graduate and looking to bring him back so early, they will definitely look for a decision that will help the player’s development before the window shuts down as to whether he stays in France or will return to England.
Ibrahim Osman after completing the move, stayed with Danish side FC Nordsjaelland to see out the 2023-2024 season after signing for Brighton in the January transfer window but spent the 2024-2025 campaign in the Dutch League competing for Feyenoord.
