The former Chelsea defender has rendered an unqualified apology to his side following his marching orders in their defeat against their top-flight rivals over the weekend

Ghana international Baba Rahman has expressed his remorse for his red card in PAOK's 1-2 defeat to Panathinaikos  in the Greek Super League contest on Sunday.

The 30-year-old received his marching orders on the 60th minute of the game after his second yellow card. However, with his sending off, the Athens-based club went ahead to clinch the bragging right over the super clash derby on the day much to the disappointment of the Black stars' defender.

And now, after realizing this gaffe, the former Schalke 04 full-back took to his micro-blogging platform to express his remorse over his acerbic episode by stating on his lnstagram page: ''l'm sorry for letting you down tonight..#paok#paokara..''

Baba, who has been in fine form for his side this term, has so far netted one goal in 14 league games for PAOK in this current 2024-25 Greek Super League season.

He currently boasts of 52 caps with Ghana men's senior national team, the Black stars with a goal to his credit.
